Healthy Michigan plan (Medicaid)
We cover adults ages 19 to 64 who meet income requirements. Our Healthy Michigan Medicaid plan offers many services and extras that some plans don’t offer like dental, vision care and mental health. Get the plan that gets you more — choose from our large variety of network doctors that can help you get the care you need.
UnitedHealthcare Community plan
Our Medicaid family plan is for children, pregnant women, families and adults who meet income and health need requirements. We also cover children and young adults with special health or developmental needs. You can choose your own doctor.
If you are enrolled in Medicaid, you may qualify for additional
services and support with the Children’s Special Health Care Services
(CSHCS) program. We can help you manage your child’s special health or

Dual Special Needs plans
Dual Special Needs plans (also called Dual Health plans or D-SNPs for short) are for people who have for both Medicaid and Medicare. D-SNPs offer more benefits than those you get with original Medicare or Medicaid. They cover most doctor visits, hospital stays and prescription drugs.
Individual & Family ACA plans
UnitedHealthcare offers Individual & Family ACA plans in Michigan. You can choose from 3 plans: bronze, silver and gold. Each plan comes with a variety of benefits and customer support.

The Michigan Medicaid plans provide medical coverage at no- or low-cost to families, pregnant women, children, people with disabilities and adults who meet income requirements.

Join or switch to UnitedHealthcare community plan for families. Open enrollment for Michigan Medicaid is available year-round.

Transportation Assistance
Benefits may include round trip rides to:
- Doctor and pharmacy visits
- Grocery store, food banks and pantries
- Women, Infants and Children (WIC) appointments

Language and translation help
You can get information in many languages. Just ask, and we’ll connect you with interpreter services that cover more than 170 languages.
- Many of our doctors speak multiple languages. You can check our provider directory to see which languages they speak.
- You can also get information in large print, Braille or audio files on a CD or flash drive.
- We can also offer interpreter services, including American Sign Language.
Pregnancy care
We help mother and baby:
- Find a provider and a pediatrician (child's doctor)
- Get an OB/GYN, nurse-midwife
- Schedule rides for doctor visits

Children’s Special Health Care Services (CSHCS)
